Subject: MSA DS40 Quote

Message Body: Requesting a quote for MSA DS40 Drop Slide.
my fridge dimensions are 400W x 650L x 520H.
At the base of the fridge its 390W, so that will be ok DS40?
Can pick up as I live in brissy

Thanks
Jack.

Hi Jack,

If your fridge dimensions are 650l x 400w x 520h, a DS40 will not fit unfortunately.
The DS40 tray is 711 x 388, so will be too narrow.
A DS45 is 690l x 480w which will fit.
These are $799 and we have these in stock at the moment.
If you are wanting to collect it from the store, please call first as we would like to make sure we have it here, and haven’t sold out.

Regards

Matt.

Hi Jasper,

Thanks for your recent web enquiry.
We have not fitted these to a PXII, but have been advised that the mounting positions and areas there are identical.
If you are local to us, we would be happy to do a test fit.

Subject: Fridge Slide

Message Body: Hi I am looking at getting the drop down fridge slide which fits the 40L ironman IceCube fridge. I am just wondering what the height of drop is in the slide from its resting level down to the accessible level is. I have set of homemade draws in the back of my ute. Just won’t to see if it will hit the tray when I pull it down and out.
Also all the images show the slide with a cage around it. Do they need this up all the time? Is it easy to remove? I would want to be able to put it on and off when I take the fridge out for work.

Hi Zak,

The drop measurement from the mount surface (Deck) is 265mm. The tray where the fridge sits in is 35mm up off the mount surface because the fridge tray sits on roller bearings.

I have one in stock if you need one.

Regards Ben

Subject: Toyota Hilux Dual Cab

Message Body: I have a Toyota Hilux Diesel Duel cab 4×4 2013 which is sagging in the back.
I have weighed the vehicle rear axel on a weigh bridge and it is 1780kg with a full fuel tank (140lt).
What do I need to upgrade the suspension, preferably to above 2500kg and a 50mm lift?

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your enquiry.

As the requested load carrying capabilities are within the legal GVM of the vehicle any of our kits in the below link will be able to be supplied with the correct load rated springs. I would suggest something with some good shocks to be able support and control the extra weight that will be carried, something like the Bilstein would be my suggestion.

Anyway have a browse over the kits and let me know your thoughts and we will go from there.

Daniel

Subject: rooftop tent

Message Body: Hi, im looking at purchasing a rooftop tent for my Rav4. I live in Yungaburra 4884. What would you recommend, how much + freight and any other useful information?
Cheers.

Hi Bianca,

Thanks for your recent enquiry on 4x4accessories.com.au.

The load rating on a RAV4 is only 75kg, so I would recommend not fitting a rooftop tent.

Your vehicle wouldn’t handle the weight, and it is likely to cause structural damage to your roof.

If you were looking at a roofop tent, the Ironman one is a top quality item.

https://www.superiorengineering.com.au/4×4-accessories/awnings-tents-swags/ironman-4×4-rooftop-tentonly-21760

These retail at $1,240 and freight to Yungaburra would be quite expensive ($200).

The other option to consider would be a single swag, which you could store on the roof.

These are a quick set up and easy to transport.
Freight on this would be about $60.

Hi Mal,

We don’t have any second hand parts, or sell any second hand goods.
I can do you a deal on a new set of Clearviews to suit your Pajero though, if you’re interested.
