The Mitsubishi Pajero Clearview Towing Mirror is a full aftermarket replacement towing mirror to suit late and current model Pajero’s. (This means they are mounted as a direct replacement for your standard side mirrors.)
The clever design incorporates two different surfaces that provide different but important visuals.
The top mirror has a flat surface that can reflect vision directly down the sides of your vehicle and caravan, while the bottom smaller convex mirror eliminates blind spots by allowing you greater vision out to the lanes beside your vehicle.
Easy adjustments will allow you to quickly switch the mirror to view possible areas of concern… such as your vehicles tyres, wheels or undercarriage of your caravan.
They are much larger than standard Mitsubishi Pajero side mirrors.
In standard driving position, the Clearview mirror has a wider outward reach of approximately 100mm and a total surface area much bigger than the factory mirrors.
When you are ready to tow, the mirror head can slide out and extend a further 100mm! This additional extension allows for massive 200mm of extension in total over your standard side mirrors.
Important Note: The Mitsubishi Pajero side mirrors come standard with or without indicator lights. If your current vehicle mirrors have indicator lights you are required by law to purchase towing mirrors with indicators.

Quality
Clearview Towing Mirrors are all injection moulded and built from diecast aluminium to provide a firm and stable footing on every vehicle.
Every mirror base is finished on a CNC milling machine, which gives consistent accuracy for a perfect fit to every vehicle.
They are then powder coated in quality tested facilities, ensuring a high level finish.
They have steel arms through the centre of the mirrors, giving them extreme strength. These arms have cams which are precision cut from stainless steel on a high tech water cutting machine.
The cams are welded to the arms for better quality control and consistency. The finished arms are then coated in a special corrosion resistant electro coating paint process.
Installation
Because Clearview Towing Mirrors are a full replacement towing mirror, they are designed to use the existing holes, fittings and wiring as your existing vehicle set-up.
Overall this means a stress-free fitting procedure.
Options
Electric or Manual Operation
Clearview Towing Mirrors can be fully electric – meaning the larger flat mirror glass is capable of being shifted with the flick of a switch from your existing mirror controller – or they can also be fitted as a manual, non-electric mirror.
Please note that Clearview mirrors are not capable of electric folds, memory adjustments or auto dipping for reverse, and they do not contain puddle lights or cameras. If your standard side mirrors contain any of these functions they will be lost once these mirrors are installed. This has no ill effect on any of the other vehicle functions.
With or Without Indicator Lights
Clearview Towing Mirrors can be fitted with or without indicators.
If your vehicle’s standard side mirrors contain indicators then you are required by law to buy replacement side mirrors with indicators.
Some vehicles can have our mirrors with indicators even if the vehicle’s standard side mirrors do not contain indicators.
Chrome or Black Finish
A choice between a chrome or textured black finish is available. While both designs are equably durable and practical and capable of resisting the harsh Australian outback, the chrome mirrors do require a polish every once in a while to maintain their original shine.

Hi John,
Thank you for your enquiry.
It should be a simple matter of physically moving the mirror back into the desired position, once close the mirror should pop back into it normal position.
Check out the video below from the guys at Clearview have done up on the features of their mirrors
