Enhanced Four Wheel Drive Suspension EFS Greaseable Shackles have been designed to be stronger than the original equipment and greaseable for ease of service and maintenance.
The EFS Shackles are made from medium to high grade carbon steel, then case hardened, gold cadmium plated for increased strength and anti-corrosion.
These shackles come as a set of 2 (pair). Included are 1 x left hand shackle and 1 x right hand shackle.
EFS offers standard replacement shackles and a small range of standard anti-inversion and extended shackles.
The anti-inversion model features a design that stops the springs being damaged when the shackles are hit into obstacles.
If your looking for more flex from your rear end of your 4×4, then this is one easy way to make it happen. Or you just want to fine tune the height of one end
EFS Greaseable Fixed Pins are engineered to be stronger than the original equipment and greaseable for ease of service and maintenance.
The EFS Pins are made from medium / high grade carbon steel, then case hardened, gold cadmium plated for increased strength and corrosion protection.
Regular lubrication is the key to prevent binding and to ensure optimum performance of your leaf spring suspension.
With standard pins, this is not usually practical, as the springs must be removed from the vehicle for the bushes to be serviced.
EFS Suspension greaseable pin kits eliminate this hassle. Just ten minutes is usually all that it takes to lubricate all the fixed pins on your vehicle.
These RuffStuff Specialties Chromoly Heims are a very high quality, “Heat and Cryogenically” Treated 4130 Chromoly Rod End!
The housing is machined from 4130 Chromoly and the Ball is made from 52100 Bearing Steel. Both are heat treated and hard chrome finished for improved strength and corrosion resistance.
The race is made from injection molded Teflon impregnated Nylon which is used between the two components to allow for smooth and precise ball movement.
This unique manufacturing process make these heim joints tougher than any other rod ends on the market! We can say it more than doubles their effective lifespan. Obviously they are priced a little more than a cheap mild steel heims… but that’s because the quality is worth it.
These rod ends are not tested to breaking point, but are tested to “first deformation point”. This is a key highlight point… deformation is NOT breaking point.
Several of the other companies making Rod Ends test to breaking point. You will stop using the heim joint after it has bent, so why even care at what point they fall into a pile of pieces on the ground. That just dosen’t make any sense to the end user.
We have a large range of sizes so you can find just the joint for your application.
The Left and Right hand set of Chromoly Rod Ends come with all the trimmings!
You get 1 Left & 1 Right hand Heims, 4 Zink Plated or Stainless Missalignment spacers with 34° degrees of misalignment, a left and a right hand gold zink plated or hard stainless Jam Nuts and a pair of weld in Tube Adapters to go with them.
2 Bore Heat & Cryo Treated Chromoly Heims
2 Tube Adapters
2 Jam Nuts

More Information
Jam Nut
These rod ends come with Hex Jam Nuts. Right or left hand thread with 16 threads per inch.
Misalignment
Missalignment does 2 things necessary to run Rod Ends on a 3 or 4 Link Suspension.
The first and most important is allow additional room for the joint to pivot and let your suspension articulate. That comes simply from the shape of the missalignment.
The second and less important comes from a functional standpoint, but equal from the operational point of view as it serves as a spacer and reducer. This allows the use of a smaller bolt than the bore of the Heim.
Heims Terminology
Spacer Width
This is the inside measurement of the mounting point.
Bolt Size
This is the size of the bolt to be used in the mounting point.
Eye I.D
Inside measurement if the heim eye without the misalignment spacer.
Shank
The shank size is the thread needed in the arm that the heim is to be screwed into.
Tube I.D
The inside diameter of the pipe the tube adaptor is to be welded into.
Tube O.D
This is the minimum recommended outside diameter of the pipe to be used.
This Ironman 4×4 FlowMax Pro Air Compressor pumps out an amazing one hundred and sixty litres (160L) of air per minute, so that is plenty for any sized tyre.
It’s also covered by a three year warranty for peace of mind.
It also comes with a large 60mm piston cylinder that runs inside of stainless steel sleeve.
It has built-in thermal overload protection as well as a pressure relief valve.
We use a 8mm heat resistant hose that has an inline pressure gauge.
The FlowMax Pro comes with a built-in air cleaner, cast alloy housing, an assortment of fittings, as well as a really cool carry case.
WARNING: Do not touch the compressor or the fittings (other than the ON/OFF switch) with bare hands during or immediately after use.
This Air Compressor is equipped with THERMAL OVERLOAD PROTECTOR. If the unit should shut off automatically during operation, do not attempt to restart the compressor. Turn the compressor’s ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. Allow the compressor to cool off for approximately 30 minutes before resuming use.
